Burial Site Location Laurel Land Memorial Park is located at 6000 South R.L. Thornton Freeway in Dallas, Texas. The cemetery is at the southeast corner of Interstate 35E / U.S. Highway 77 and Laureland Road, 6.7 miles south of downtown Dallas. J.D. Tippit's grave is along the north fenceline just west of the Marsalis Street entrance gate into the park.
